Tip #56 - Times when Dua is answered: Dua after the Salaah -

It is mentioned in a hadith that a dua after the obligatory prayer is the most likely to be responded to.

Making dua in Salaah is something good and recommended, even more so when one is in prostration to Allah as this is when a slave is closest to his Lord.

Dua on the day of Arafah

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

The best of supplications is the supplication on the day of AAarafah and the best which I and the Prophets before me have said (is):

“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise and He is over all things omnipotent.”
