Dua of the remembrance and glorification of Allah #2

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ (مائة مرة)
Translation
The Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Whoever says:

“How far from imperfections Allah is and I praise Him.” (100 Times)

…a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وبِحَمْدِهِ (مائة مرة)
Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever says at morning and evening time:

“How far from imperfections Allah is and I praise Him.” (100 Times)

…one hundred times, none shall come on the Day of Resurrection with anything better except someone who has said the same or even more.

Note: Morning refers to the time after fajr prayer until the sun rises and evening refers to the time after the ‘Aṣr prayer until the sun sets, however some scholars say: after the sunsets onwards.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Translation
Abu Ayyoob Al-Ansaree (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever says:

“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.”

...ten times, is like the one who has freed four souls from among the children of Ismaaa'eel.
Transliteration
laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، وسُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

(There are) Two words, (which are) light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale and beloved to The Most Gracious,

“How far from imperfections Allah is and I praise Him. How far from imperfections Allah is, The Supreme.”

subḥaan-allaahi wa biḥamdihi wa subḥaan-allaahil-‛aẓeem

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ ، والْحَمْدُ لِلهِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Saying;

“How far from imperfections Allah is, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and Allah is the greatest.”

...is more beloved to me than everything the sun has risen over.
Transliteration
subḥaan-allaahi, wal-ḥamdu-lillaahi, laa ilaaha ill-allaahu, wallaahu akbar

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ
Translation
SaAAd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he said, “Is any one of you unable to gain a thousand good deeds each day?”

Somebody then asked him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “How does one achieve a thousand good deeds?”

He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, “He should say,

‘How far from imperfections Allah is.’

...one hundred times, for a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away.”

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيمِ وبِحَمْدِهِ
Translation
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever says,

“How far from imperfections Allah is. The Supreme, and I praise Him.”

...a palm tree is planted for him in paradise.

subḥaan-allaahil-‛aẓeemi wa bi ḥamdihi

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
Translation
Abdullah Ibn Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) related that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, “O Abdullah Ibn Qays, shall I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of paradise?”

He (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said, “Say,

‘There is no might nor power except with Allah.’”
Transliteration
laa ḥawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaah
Excellence of remembrance and glorification of Allah #10

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ
Translation
The most beloved words (phrases) to Allah are four:

“How far from imperfections Allah is”, “All praise is for Allah”, “None has the right to be worshipped except Allah” and “Allah is the greatest”.

...it does not matter which of them you start with.

subḥaan-allaahi, wal-ḥamdu-lillaahi, wa laa ilaaha ill-allaahu, wallaahu akbar

الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ
Translation
Jabir Ibn Abdullah (RA) related that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Verily, the best supplication is,

“All praise is for Allah.”

…and indeed, the best form of remembrance is,

“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah.”

al-ḥamdu lillaah
