O Allah I seek refuge in You from [a death caused by] demolition, and I seek refuge in You from [a death caused by] tumbling from a hight, and I seek refuge in You from drowning, [a death caused by] burning [due to fire], old and infirm age.

And I seek refuge in You from the deception of the devil at the moments of death, and I seek refuge in You from dying while fleeing [the battlefield] during a battle [fought] in Your sake, and I seek refuge in You from dying from a [venomous] sting.

Allaa-humma in-ni a‛ oodhu bi-ka min al-hadm, wa a‛ oodhu bi-ka min-at-tarad-di, wa a‛ oodhu bi-ka mi-nal-gharaq, wal-ḥaraq wal-ha-ram,

wa a‛oodhu bi-ka an ya-ta-khab-baṭani-yal-shaiṭaanu ‛indal-maut, wa a‛oodhu bi-ka an amoota fee sa-beeli-ka mudbira, wa a‛oodhu bi-ka min an amoota la-deegha
