"O my Lord! Grant unto me from You a progeny that is pure: for You are the one who hears (our) prayers!"




Note: This particular dua, was done by Zakariyah (zechariah) (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), for he had no children, and Allah (subhanahu-wa-ta'ala) answered his prayer and gave him the prophet Yahya (John) as a son.
